Singapore – Lower Peirce Reservoir

Once we exit out from the Upper Peirce Reservoir main gate, we walk along the pathway leading to Lower Peirce Reservoir. Not know how long it will take to reach the junction, my feet was pleading me again to REST! When we finally reached the junction leading to Lower Peirce Reservoir. I just wanna give up! Each steps is like excruciating pain, erm Zumba does not made my feet so sore. Dang maybe I should go for more walks to build my leg muscles!

In any case Lower Peirce Reservoir is a relatively easy walk. There is boardwalk throughout the whole trail which make it easier. First part of the walk is forested as we continue on we were greeted with the clear blue skies and the water were glistering under the sunlight.

The scenery was just as gorgeous and tranquil as Upper Peirce Reservoir. If only the boardwalk is broader and there will be benches so we can just seat and admire the beautiful scenery right in front of us.

At the end of the boardwalk, there was a hut with benches and a stone bench for anyone who want to take a seat. I think having a picnic mat and have some sandwiches and drinks after the walk would be a nice way to chill and relax under the shady tree.

Though it was a long and tiring walk, I do not regret embarking on this journey. In fact after this walk we went back to Lower Peirce Reservoir a few times just to admire the beautiful scenery.

Till then see you all in the next post.

XOXO
