Have not hear of this eatery before and it’s tuck at a quiet neighbourhood of a private estate. It’s about a 7 – 10 mins walk from Camberra Mrt Station.
A friend recommended this place as she had been there a few times and suggested we give it a try. Flamingg Mangos is both a western restaurant and a pub/bar during the night and it can get quite crowded during the night.

We were there on a Sunday afternoon (around 1pm) and I believed they are just open for lunch. I do like the ambiance of the restaurant, it’s like a nice chill place to hang out after work kind of vibe with outdoor seating. This is a non air-con restaurant with nice music playing at the background. It kind of reminds me of Holland Village, south-west central region in Singapore where there were many hippies restaurants, pub/bars.
Flamingg Mangos have a wide variety of main dishes to choose from. I felt spoilt with so many choices and could not made up my mind what to try. In the end I choose the traditional fish and chips as I was kind of craving for french fries but not a fan of dory fish. Oh well ~ 😅
First up was the grilled chicken salad. Yum, the grilled chicken is really tender and flavourful. The portion size of the salad is generous. Next up my fish and chips, the batter is crispy and the fish is kind of sweet. I did mention in my other post before dory fish isn’t my favourite kind of fish as the fish meat is not firm and flaky. Somehow I do enjoy my fish and chip. Their serving of the coleslaw is huge, I have not seen other places being so generous with the portion and the cabbage is crunchy!

The burger and spaghetti which my friends tried were delicious (according to them) and visually it looks amazing. For the price point and serving size I would definitely love to go back to Flamingg Mangos again and try their other items in their menu during one of the weekends to chill.

XOXO
