If you are visiting Port Elliot, do come by and visit Port Elliot Bakery. This shop has a long history, they have been baking pies at the premises since 1860’s!
As there were a number of choices (see menu) I always had a hard time selecting what I want to eat (Since all the pies are delicious!). When it’s my turn, I will just randomly order a few and enjoyed it afterwards.

They have various types of pies and depending on season they have pies of the month. While I was there last December, their pie of the month was Sweet Chili Chicken Cheese and it was absolutely amazing! The crust of the pie is very flaky and buttery, the filling of the pie is very generous as well.

For this trip, I brought a few of the pies back home and freeze it up. When I feel like eating pie, I simply heat it up in the oven and enjoyed it.
XOXO
