Adelaide – Fred Eatery

Fred Eatery is located at Adelaide Hills. I have not visited this place before, it was suggested by a friend whom we were meeting for lunch.

It was a very hot day, the temperature was around 38 Degree Celsius, I was very glad that the air-con was cold enough to cool us down!

As we came from the parking lot and the first thing we saw was the outdoor sitting! If the weather was cooler, I believe it will be a nice and relaxing sitting area to enjoy the meal.

Outdoor Sitting

As we walked pass the outdoor sitting, we were welcome by this lovely entrance to the eatery. The first reaction was – Aww so pretty I want to take a photo of this lovely entrance and at the same time I can’t wait to see how the interior was like.

The entrance ~ Aww Isn’t it pretty!

I was not disappointed; it was really lovely inside. The colour theme of the eatery was green, white and brown. The bright green colour brings a pop to the interior and it was very pleasing to the eyes. I really like the ambiance of this eatery.

The interior

When we enter the eatery, we could smell the aroma of coffee brewing in the back ground and the fragrant of all the delicious foods which the guests have order. I had a hard time deciding what to eat as everything on the menu sound so healthy and delicious!

But I wanted to have something crunchy and fried.. Lol so I decided to opt of the Salt and Pepper Squidly Diddly! The salt and pepper squid was so yummy, crunchy on the outside and soft and tender in the inside. The greens complement the fried item and the pearl cous cous was firm. I really loved this item very much!

For drink I ordered a fancy tea called Cleopatra’s Champagne. Eh.. I didn’t really enjoy it as there was chamomile mixed with other floral. Not my favourite kind of tea. I guess I should had asked what kind of blend before ordering. My bad…

Price point, for Australian standard I think it is a norm. However, personally I feel it was kind of pricey. But given the chill, cosy ambiance and amazing food, I wouldn’t mind coming back to Fred Eatery again in my next trip to try their other items. All in all, I truly enjoyed my lunch there!

XOXO

Adelaide – Khang’s Noodles

As usual, when I am in Australia I will always look for Vietnamese Pho noodles.
