Never tried flower arrangement before. When it was offered I was excited and looking forward to give this a go.

When the day arrives, the room was filled with fragrant of all the beautiful flowers! It was a beautiful sight! The florist was gave us an introduction and we were told to choose 3 main colours/flowers and the rest can play the supporting role.

I choose 3 main colours – Purple, Dark Red, Light Pink. Even when I have the flowers right in front of me, my mind went blank and I could not fathom what to do. Colleagues beside me were all in actions, their creative juices were overflowing!

While they were busy arranging their flowers, I struggling to even decide where I want to place my first flower. Should I place it in the center, right or left? All the endless questions I had buzzing in my mind. After many rounds of trial and error, I finally got the hang of it and I am happy with the outcome. Though I was lost on how to even start the process in the beginning, the outcome it was really satisfying. Somehow it was rather therapeutic for me. It was indeed a good break during office hours.
